I had been using Jott for quite sometime to collect ideas while driving in the car or while away from my computer when I couldn't write something down. It is a great service, but recently Jott decided to discontinue the free version of the Jott service. After that, I set out to find a free replacement and stumbled upon a free application called Reqall.
Reqall is an application very similar to Jott. You can call in and add a new note or share a note with a friend. It will then send you an email with the text of that recording as well as the .wav file. I have been using it for a couple of weeks and I am very happy with it. It provides me with the same features that Jott did and is FREE.
